Week 1 Madden '07 Predictions

Postby BeefSandwiches » Thu Sep 07, 2006 2:51 pm

ESPN ran simulations of all Week 1 games. Completely pointless, but entertaining as we whittle away the last few hours before football finally starts...

I dont know... they have the Lions beating the Seahawks 34 - 26. I highly doubt that.

It almost makes me want to start KJ... almost.

He is a stud in Madden though.

Really cool find...was it on the front page? I think it'd be fun to look at what they simulate every week and see how it stacks up in comparison to RL

Well - not off to a good start
-- Prediction MIA 20-17
-- Real-life PIT 28-17

Own Chambers - wish he had done as well as predicted. Worried as Culpepper looks tenative in the pocket.

Wow... If you look at the detail for the Pitt/Miami game, Duce Staley had a pretty good game... Completely overshadowing Willie Parker. Who would have guessed.

Yeah I think the guys at espn were a little bored and antsy for something to report before the season. In Madden you can simulate the games and they turn out completely different every time. They have intentionally built in a lot of randomness and it is definitely not scientific.
