Large League Strategy

I have been playing fantasy football for 6 years, but i am participating in my first draft larger than 12 teams (16 team league).

We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def/ST

With three starting RBs and so many teams, would it be wise to go RB with your first three picks??

Any other large league draft tips would be appreciated.
