In Leagues where Return Yardage counts at anything around 0.5 the same rate as Receiving or Rushing yardage Welker was a top 30 WR last year so the Frisman Effect is not applicable here.

Now - if Nate Washington were being added then you would have a case to argue.

I agree. This is the Frisman Effect. I just happened to check Yahoo to see it myself.

The argument of return yards being equal is valid, but is this REALLY the case in 17,000+ leagues?

Wes Walker is a great player to have on your team......NFL team! Not fantasy team.

But he should definately get some love in return yardage leagues if he hasn't already

both are right, Welker is not gonna put up these receiving numbers every week..but in return leagues he is money

Wes Welker is a stud in leagues that award return yardage. If Marty Booker had gotten injured enough to miss a few weeks, I would add Welker just based on his receiving ability..

I didn't see past the 1st quarter becuase I had to come to work but watching in the NFL.com Gamecenter it seemed Welker was the target a lot near the end when Culpepper was trying to make something happen - that can only be a good sign for Welker owners...

One of my leagues counts return yards at 30yds per point. He netted 12.45 pts. I am thinking of dropping R Brown for him since Dainty Stallworth is in Phillie now.
