Just for fun, look under that and find: “Losman Poised for Production”. Quick, pick up Losman before anyone else sees this!!!
most of these were quotes by Willis McGahee showing his motivation. And also the opening paragraph how it stated that McGahee's role was part time for a feature back. The Losman poised for production link is actually a video where they interview JP Losman, its not an article like it is for McGahee.
I will just say "I told you so" when McGahee is a perennial top 4 back next year taken in fantasy drafts.
I couldn't care less how much of a man crush you have on McGahee, but you can't be a perennial pick next year. You have to be that year after year. I know, it's nit picking, but that was retarded.
I guess I agree with a couple of things and smirk at others.
Yes I think that you are a homer NikkiSixx. I just don't think there is anything wrong with that. In fact I count on it when I read people's posts.
I find it hilarious that an Iggles' fan would complain about anybody elses homerism. Not that there is anything wrong with Iggles' fans homerism. It's all good.
I also agree, albeit not as heartily, that McGahee is undervalued. He will get tons of carries and has skills. All he needs is a little improvement from his O-line and D and he is set to blow-up. And I think the D will be much better. Not that sure about the line.
Don't know that I would go as far as to say he would be a top 4 draft pick next season, but I will say that it is within the realm of possibility.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

Im sorry, I used the wrong word, consensus (or however you spell it) is what I should have used. McGahee next year will the the consensus #4 pick at least in my opinion behind Tomlinson, Johnson, and Alexander. The only guys I can see outperforming McGahee are Clinton Portis (if his shoulder holds up), Stephen Jackson, and Ronnie Brown.

353 total touches is not part time for a featured role. McGahee can claim it all he wants, it doesn't make it true. And you're missing the point about the articles. It doesn't matter if that Losman link sends a phone call to a driver who than takes Losman to your home to explain in person why he thinks he'll be productive, its that the entire website clearly is biased towards the Bills.
McGahee was not even the 3rd down back last year, therefore his job was part time (yeah...Mike Mularkey was stupid and didnt utilize McGahee correctly). Holcomb/Losman didnt throw many dump off passes to him either this year he is expect to be more involved in the passing game. If McGahee gets his 350-400 carries this year I can assure you people will be talking about him in the same conversations as they would Ladainian Tomlinson about who the best back in the league is. You guys might think Im biased but Im really not, I have realistic expectations for the team and for the players, I watch them every week.
I watch the Bills every week too, and I dont have a biased view for them (you say you arent, but I know to some extent you are) but McGahee wont become the stud you think he will be this year. Of course I don't have any concrete proof to back this up, the players are the ones that make things happen. But McGahee had the worst YPC in the entire league for full time starters who played in all 16 games. Just because positive reports are becoming off the Bills site (which I found absolutely SHOCKING!) and you see improvement in the o-line in LIMITED TIME in the PRESEASON, does not mean McGahee will become one of the best backs in the league.
That being said I do agree that McGahee was not used properly last year and Fairchild and Jauron say he will be utilized fully this year (although I have my doubts on comments considering Mularkey said the same thing last year) which holds some merit because they have kept their word in the preseason. He should be able to out-produce his draft position, and up his TD total to around 8-10.
AT LEAST 1400 yards, and 12 TD's, mark my words. I will give you unlimited bashing if I am wrong lol. Actually I expect him to do about what he was on pace for in 2004 when he only had 11 starts, except this year he will have 16 starts. And its not just pre-season, its training camp too and the new offensive system.

can you please tell me where this "homerism" is please and I will do the best to defend my reasoning for stating such things. Or maybe I will agree with you lol.
I do agree with your post...though I dont see the reasoning for posting as if you are the man around here.
NikkiSixx - You could very well be right about McGahee. He is a very talented RB. The problem is where your information comes from. Last week you were pimping Losman as being WAY better this year. Fine, but your main source was McGahee (more than a little biased). This week you want us to believe McGahee will make the leap. Fine, but your main source is the Bills' website (on the same page in which they are trying to sell McGahee jerseys). If you are high on these guys, great, just don't expect us to take you seriously when your sources are so biased.
McGahee started off last season well....but finished with a fizzle. only one game after his week 9 bye did he average 4 ypc. he only scored one Td and one game over 100 yards.
I dont know if you can blame stamina since it was his first full season, or if he just gave up.

Im at work right now, but later tonight I will give a good post in here about why McGahee make the leap this year based on facts.
And when I said Losman will be WAY better than last year, I mean he will keep his job and be a respectable QB, Im not saying he will put up great numbers by any means, but he will throw a good and accurate deep ball and he moves around the pocket very well, I see flashes of a big playmaker in him. Last year he looked lost so its not hard to be WAY better than last year, and the bills QB situation will not be a complete mess and I wouldnt be surprised if Losman becomes a late round sleeper for NEXT YEAR.
VERY understandable that you dont find the link I posted credible and I wasnt even thinking about the source, the site maybe be biased, but some things I agree with on there. I will try and find better links or just type something up myself...later tonight of course.
