Usually when I start feeling the slightest bit oiff-colour I start pounding back the drugs. One time I was at work and the first-aid guy recommended a couple pills we kept in the cabinet. They were definately "Pre-Menstrual Pills; for pre-menstrual aches and pains." It took him a while to convince me that they worked, and let me tell you they actaully do!

Fluids, fluids and more fluids. The more you go, the quicker it gets out of your system.

I heard they are supposed to boost your immune system.
Combine that with rest, oj, and more rest, and you should be fine ;-D

I've heard enchachea is inefective once you have a cold its more for prevention by keeping your immune system strong and healthy.

I've used Zicam before and it seemed to lessen the severity and the lenghth of the cold its available over the counter.

Also emer'gen-C seems to help me alot. (Also great for a hangover)

Its similar to alka-seltzer but tastes alot better and there are various flavors.

Also to help prevent colds, cold sores(for those who get cold sores you should really be taking this) and to promote a healthy immune system, I highly recomend to everyone SuperLysene+.

I've been taking it for about 3 years now. I've only had one severe cold in that span which is really good for me. ;-D

Cold-Eeze is 100% the way to go. It will knock a 10 day cold down to about 4 or 5 days. The cherry is the flavor I'd recommend (Lemon's ok, but cherry is better). Take one every 4 hours. Don't eat or drink anything containing citric acid for 30 minutes before or after (it binds the zinc in the lozenge making it less effective). Also, make sure to take it with a bit of food in your stomach. I've gotten sick off of zinc once before.

Oh, and then sleep as long as you can, that's a good idea too.

Add some chicken soup. I read somewhere a few months ago that this mother's home remedy does actually help. There is some enzime in the broth that jump starts your imune system to fighht off colds.m
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.

I know people that swear by it so it's worth a try.

This is the stuff. If you know you are going to be around alot of people or someone who is sick this stuff is as surefire as you can get.

Even if you feel the beginnings of a sore throat it works. But unfortunately there is nothing you can do once it has already hit you. At that point use the sudafed, Zicam, etc to ease the pain.
