for the record I like Detroit's chances to put points on the board against us. There's no reason why KJ can't get a TD score. It will be easier if Williams can match up at 100% to take advantage of our corners and get into the redzone.

Sounds about right to me.

You forgot to a bald tire on a inner city highway. Sadly he is what passes for a leader in the joke that Millen built. He could get seriously hury this season, likely the first few games.

That said I can see KJ going for around 60-80 total yds. TD iffy. I just have a hard time seeing the Oline opening up much for him right now. Kitna will, however, manage to throw a couple TDs passes to defeat the C-Bags. Heck if Batch could throw three, why not.

I've got him at about 60 total yards. I dont think it matters how good he is, DET's defense made the horrid looking Oakland offense look like gods. Seattle's defense is good, not great, but good, but their offense will jump out to a lead, and Mad Mike will forget that the backfield even exists early.

If anyone does the scoring for DET, look for Roy Williams to be the one.

yeah, around 60 yards and no TD. Sorry, but I'm a bitter 2005 KJ owner and that's what I got used to seeing out of him.

That's kind of how I see it, despite the interview fluff Martz has been giving KJ.

I'm gonna go against the grain and go high on my KJ predictions. 90 yards rushing, 2 TD's and another 30 yards receiving.

I gotta go more with Kensat (and groundhog) here. I'd say KJones is gonna be good for about 120 and a TD.

There's a lot of factors that need to be taken into account here. Forget the last 2 years in StL because you had an injured MFaulk and a young SJax with a proven passing game. It's easier to see why Martz abandoned the run as he did. But Detroit is no StL. Stl ran Holt/Bruce/Curtis. Det runs RWilliams. A Detroit guy will have to hlp me out here. KJones imo is the second receiving threat in Det as of right now.

Furthermore, Kitna is no god; I wil lgive you that. But to say he can't be more consistant than Joey is insane. I hope Joey gets it together some where else because he seems to have the talent, but man it didn't work in Detroit at all.

And to top it off, Martz has been high on KJones being a major part of the offense. And please don't go to the preseason because Detroit was without their entire right side of the starting line.

I know a lot of you got burned by KJones last year, but you can't forget what was done in '04 and they now have a better offensive mind and a more consistant QB. It's not hard to see it is very possible.
