Yeah you're fine and just took him to the cleaners?

Any chance this is a sportsline league?

he prob. did it cuz LJ could be just "good" this yr, not great...due to losing Roaf hand his FB and others question marks in his O-line this yr.

Had to ask b/c there was an insane write up on Edge on sportsline. Basically saying all good backs that changed teams in the last few years didnt lose production.

It was giving examples like Priest and Portis. Funny thing is how the article mentioned nothing of comparing the teams they went from and to nor did it take into account how the RB's prior to the trade faired in those situations.

I always see odd trades happen when weighted articles like this come out.

Also, people are kind of tuck-and-rolling off the LJ bandwagon after the preseason. :-b

Yeah, the bandwagon's hurt b/c he lost both tackles. I wouldn't worry too much. If anyone lost O-line help, it's Edge himself, heh.

Funny thing is Priest went to a team with an A+ offensive line and Portis went to a team with a B+ offensive line and actually DID LOSE production. His first year was way down and his second year the TDs weren't quite there.

In this instance, Edge goes from a B/B+ O-line to one with a D/D- O line.

The article used Portis as an example of someone who didn't lose production when they changed teams? Did they site statistics, or just state it as fact and move on?

LJ = better running back with a questionable line

Edge = lesser running back with a sh*t o-line

this trade makes no sense.......maybe if it was for Rudi it would make more sense........you are in great shape.
