It's just one week, but I'm still glad I used a tenth round pick on him.

Don't get too happy just yet. That was Arizona he was facing.

I was trying to trade him and Keenan McCardell to the guy who has Steve Smith. He turned me down. Too bad for him because he kept the injured Smith in his line up and lost. If he wants Gore tomorrow, the price just went up. One more good week and his trade value will be immense. The guy gets hurt often so he may not make the entire season. Keep/trade. Keep/trade. Tough choice. I have Ronnie Brown and Steven Jackson for my studs so I don't need Gore in the lineup [although his 18 points may be the winning difference for me this week and he outscored both of them today].

He'll be getting a lot of touches this year. Conservatively, he'll average 10 points every week EASY.

And I'm not just saying that as a Niners fan, that comes from knowing how SF will use him and that is....OFTEN.

Injury is the only downside to him over the course of the season, not opportunity.

He was an unproven RB, no one really knew what to expect from him so I don't really feel bad about having sat him in a league or two this week because I started guys who I should've started given their track record compared to his. I think it's a little early to call him a stud, but a great time to sell him high.

I agree.

And after his 1st horrible game people will be looking to trade or cut him. I think it's so funny how people make decisions on players based on 1 game or even 1 play. Gore had a very good game against one of the worst D's in the league. Let's see how he does against a tough defense before we start calling him a stud. And also let's see how he does for 16 games before the "early 1st round pick for next year" talk starts.

I like what I saw from him so far. Looking at his schedule it appears that it is pretty weak for the most part. I could definitely see him in my flex for a majority of weeks this year.
