Outrageous first week of FFL!

Postby JD3 » Mon Sep 11, 2006 2:11 pm

I had a fantastic opening week and I'm loaded up with tradebait on my yahoo league.

I started:
K. Warner (QB)
L. Fitzgerald (WR)
T. Owens (WR)
Ma. Jones (WR)
L. Tomlinson (RB)
F. Gore (RB)
Da. Clark (TE)
M. Stover (K)
Baltimore (D)

So far I have 101 points in my league without LT even playing yet!

My Bench:
D. Mcnabb (QB)
J. Plumber (QB)
J. Lewis (RB)
J. Addai (RB)
D. Branch (WR) <-- A Seahawk now!
D. Bennet (WR)

Looks like I'm going to have trade for a Back up D and kicker or have a really bad week #7 when the Ravens have a bye. I loaded up on trade material in the preseason but I had to sacrifice being deep at kicker, defense, and TE. Other than that my opener was awesome and my team's looking good for the season.

I'm so glad I picked up Gore off waviers in the preseason.

I don't see why most of that team can't keep it up the rest of the year. Nice draft.
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

Why trade for a D. Just pick up a team with a good matchup. Anyone playing the Titans or Raiders looks to be a pretty good pick up.

Wow. One of my teams is eerily similar to yours

QB: Warner
RB: Tomlinson
RB: W. Parker
WR: T. Owens
WR. A. Boldin
WR. Roy Williams
RB/WR: F. Gore
TE: LJ Smith
K: Akers
D: Baltimore

You don't need to trade for a kicker or defense. In Week 7, just pick up the D and K with the best matchup.
