I really dont care if the Lions win or not as long as Williams tries his hardest and gets 14 receptions, 208 yards and 3 TDs for my team (or something along those lines) :-D

Umm im not really up to speed on Cafe lingo but what is a "mook". Anyways i think that this is a good move on Roys' part, the way i see it is that he is putting himself on the line and implictly asking/corraling his teammates to step it up. If he were warren sapp, ray lewis or brett farve; it would interpreted as a move to light the fire under a team playing without effort or hustle. Last year year the one game i do remever the lions played the bears they were in it for at least 3 quarters if i remember correctly and if harrington and roy couldve been on the same page 2 plays they may have won. I think it will be a close game and i am strongly considering taking the lions in the PBC cause i think they can pull it off, and martz is the guy to orchestrate it.....

mook
n. Slang
An insignificant or contemptible person.

The game you are referring to was with Kyle Orton throwing the ball. Not just in terms of skills, but in terms of the offense they were willing to allow him to run, that was an inferior Bears team.

If you think 6 is close to 40, stupid be you. :) All Roy did was talk his team up, and light a fire under the Bears, who are already looking to DO something this year.

well if that was the score in the third quarter then, i stand corrected, dont really know who they allowed to run, but i do recall a missed touchdown pass and another pass that perhaps could have led to points...but i'll take your word for it about the score. But the game will tell, now need to contend this or contest that.....peace.

not convienently, just forgot, or more likely didnt see it; not a bears fan. I think ther're an ok team and thats because of their defense; those guys are top shelf...until somebody like carolina shows up!!!!!!!
