3 Big Games in the South

That LSU/Auburn game was a great game. Great defense by both teams and I think the better team won. You can't really blame the outcome on the refs. Even if that was pass interference on the play near the end, we wouldn't be talking about it had the Auburn defender not dove and swatted the ball away.

The Miami/Louisville game, not so much.

Florida/Tennessee was another very good game. The SEC carried the day today.

And, my Tar Heels finally picked up a win, even though it was against Furman. But, the major point here is that they won WITHOUT JOE DAILEY. I hope John Bunting was paying attention to that.

I was impressed with both teams. I dont know how many points one could expect out of the offenses with as good of defenses that both teams possess, and with it being such a huge rivalry game. I wouldnt drop LSU out of the top10 after this. In fact, I'd keep them above Texas.

I wouldn't say he played poorly down the stretch as a whole. Really he just had the one big boneheaded play where he took the sack, the rest of that drive he made some plays that I think few other QBs could have made to give them a shot.

Agreed, Russell is a big strong QB with a canon for an arm. His physical strength allowed him to get out of a few sticky situations and make plays. His problem on that sack was he tried to do too much, he should've thrown it away for sure.
