Who is the weakest pro football announcer/reporter?


1. Madden (antics become less humorous and more annoying over time)

2. Chris Berman (see Madden above)

3. Joe Theisman (why, why?)

4. Suzy Kolber (what is WITH the hair?)

5. Tony Kornheiser (if you are going to pose a rhetorical point, e.g., that refs single out supposed tough hitters for roughness penalties, that a co-anchor disagrees with, don't jump all over the co anchor for failing to be a straight man for the supposed genius you were about to share with us all)

6. Al Michaels (I have never seen a guy get more out of a single catch phrase than him--he really should believe in miracles)

7. Paul McGuire (what value is added)

8. Bob Costas (what is he doing in NFL studios? Please comment on athletes your own size)

9. Michael Irvin (king annoying, with occasional humor)

10. Ron Jaworski (blow hard extraordinaire. He must be related to Phillip Rivers, own an interest in him, or desire him in some way)

I vote for Maguire, although I have to admit he must have huge cojones for being able to keep talking despite being proven consistently wrong on replay for the past ten years.

Suzy Kolber - I gather there are people on here that actually find her attractive, to me she looks like a female John Elway.

Gotta say Chris Berman as well. I almost enjoy listening to the dumba$$ stuff Madden says just to make fun of him.

Also ALL of the sideline reporters are garbage. Not them personally just that they exsist. The only usefull information they ever give is injury updates. But hell even those can be given from the booth.[/b]

Well, yes, that is like saying, "I like air."

However, the general comment about sideline reporters is true. Totally worthless in terms of adding value. Appears to be a way to involve more women in the sport--not that there is anything wrong with that at all--but yet not have them in the booth. Perhaps they should be in the booth and eliminate the sideline worthlessness. Kelly Tilghman does a great job as a golf analyst, for example. This is not a sexist comment as the most worthless sideline reporter of all time was Eric Dickerson--god was he pathetic.

What I was wondereing - was Michelle Tafoya trying to look like Suzy Kolber, or Vice-Versa. They were dressed alike & had the same hair - the whole thing was kinda giving me the creeps...
