Roy was nearly right except for one thing. Almost 40 points scored... But for or Da Bears. Lions looked far from the king of the jungle today. Bears 2-0 Lions 0-2.

Technically I can't really dispute this...it's just that I'm still waiting for that moment to arrive.
I love reading all of these Lions statements, and how wildly they vary from the actual game of football. It has GOT to be something in the water up there, because you all sounded like a bunch of Roy Williams clones. In any event, Bear D looked good. Bear O looked good. Bear win looked good. Lion bags look SWEET.

Heeheeheeheehee, OK I'm done now. No wait, heeheeheeheeheehee.
While there is no disputing the Lions were beaten to a pulp out there, I don't know that I would say the Bears dominated. The Lions bit themselves in the foot so many times I cannot remember. Dre Bly dropped two INTs at a stage where the game was still very much in doubt, the Lions penalties, a hallmark of Millen's teams, stop them as much as the Bears D did.
I saw a team that has too little talent to compete with competent teams. If I were a Bear fan I wouldn't look too closely at this game because I see a D that isn't nearly as good as they were last season. That and your running game would make me a little concerned. Other than that a solid win by the Windy City Cubbies.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

You make good points but as a Bears fan I am encouraged. Last year the Bears offense was pitiful even against fairly weak defenses. This year they seem to have more dimensions and much better QB play. Going into this game DET was reputed to have a top defense and had held SEA to 9 points, so although the DET defense had some miscues it's not like they were weak sisters.
I agree DET shot itself in the foot with the penalties, it got to where I felt sorry for them after a while.

Really? The only points the Lions put on the board were due to Charles Tillman's pass interference. I'd say they dominated. I'd say it's stupid how close they came to shutting the Lions out.
