I'm sure many of you saw this on the news today but there was a "Columbine-esque" shooting at my old college (Dawson College in Montreal) today...
I say "esque" because the restrictive gun-laws here in Canada and the apparent inability to aim of the gunman has kept the deaths down to 1 confirmed and 20 injured so far (I don't know if any of them are serious enough to still be life threatening at this point).
The world is full of ****ed up people...
Reuters wrote:TORONTO (Reuters) - A woman was killed in a shooting in a college in downtown Montreal, local police said on Wednesday.
Montreal police chief Yvan Delorme told RDI Television the woman was in her 20s. She died in hospital from her wounds after a lone gunman opened fire without warning at Dawson College.
The police earlier said a gunman dressed in a black trenchcoat had been killed by the police during the attack on the college in which 20 people were injured.

I thought Canada was a happy place!

Quebec is not a part of Canada. Anyway, I also saw this on the news. There was some pretty gruesome video of all the students running away and whatnot. Not cool.

well, according to wikipedia, quebec is the largest canadien province.

anyways, i just heard about this on the early morning news and it is indeed a terrible tragedy. i guess in this day and age there is no safe place to be.

I'm sure the United States is somehow responsible.
At least they got him. Hopefully, nobody else dies.
