Couple thoughts.

1) No major cities. I would have thought you have to drive though at least a couple major cities. There were what looked like small towns.

2) Looked like mostly county roads. No interstate?

3) Only one stop for gas?

I-80 through Nebraska isn't for the faint of heart (or the easily bored). There's not much to look at - no mountains, no big cities, nothing. You spend maybe 30 minutes driving through Omaha depending on traffic and then you're in prairie for the rest of the drive.



We're thinking of petitioning the Governor's Office to change the state motto to: Nebraska - You're Not Here For The Scenery
