Steve Slaton anyone?

Steve Slaton is a Sophomore and not eligible to come out in this years draft. Would be a great choice though ;-D

Probably Adrian Peterson. Although Maroney has only played one game.

Call em as I see em!

I'm not sure Lawerence Maroney is the next Lawerence Maroney yet. There has been a lot of hype surrounding him, but I think the jury is still out.

Maroney has a lot less to do with Maroney, and a lot more to do with being drafted into the ideal situation. Backing up an aging vet on a perennial playoff team with a good offensive line and really no other RBs worth noting on the roster. Imagine if Addai or Williams or even White had been drafted by New England instead of Maroney. They would have comparable hype.

I don't remember anyone talking about Maroney being the second coming of Jim Brown until he was drafted by the Patriots. It isn't so much who is drafted, but which team drafts them that sets up this perfect storm.

Speaking of...I haven't seen so many people rooting for a player to get injured since Deion Sanders. Poor Corey Dillon...I hope he doesn't play FFL or he must feel horrible.

Agree with you there.

As for Dillon....while he had respectable numbers last year, the guy just looked s.l.o.w.

V.e.r.y. s.l.o.w.

Dillon has always been fairly unpredictable in his results for fantasy teams. I think the end is here for Dillon, and his age will finally foretell his fantasy future, and it won't be pretty.
