LSU got beat by Officials!!!

Postby lsufan » Sat Sep 16, 2006 6:02 pm

We got robbed on this one. Everybody saw that there was pass interference. I don't think one of CBS's tv analyst thought the call should of been changed. Im usually not a sore losser when my team gets beat by the oppossing team but this stuff is bull crap.

I also wasn't too happy about JaMarcus taking the sack instead of throwing the ball away on that last drive either but that really wouldn't of mattered if the game was officiated correctly.

I'll quit ranting now and get back to watching some more football

I bet on LSU but that call could've gone either way. If you want to see a team getting screwed by the officials flip it over to ABC....this is the worst I've ever seen.

I have never, never ACTUALLY thought a ref was getting paid off during a game until today over on the OU/UO game.

I turned off the LSU/AU game. I'm all for defense (my favorite side of the ball) but that wasn't just two great defenses, that was some mediocre offense, too.

Besides, the OU/UO game was much more exciting, and I agree with Bagel that you have to wonder whether there was some money passed to the officials, especially with that on-sides kick call. One of the most obvious, easy calls I've seen in a while and they completely went the other way. Brutal.
