I'm now bucking the "Flex means another RB" trend and starting Driver and then whichever two RBs have the best matchup (I also have Barber and Lundy for down the road). And unless FWP outscores Heath Miller by 32 points tonight, I'll be 2-0, so I'm happy so far.
But I have to say that the best pick I made in the draft so far has to be the Baltimore D.
I've also bucked the 'Flex means another RB' idea, and never liked it to begin with.
in Yahoo autodraft, the computer automatically fills all starting spots first, then after the 1st 9 rounds, you get the players who are left according to how they are ranked. Knowing this (that no team could pick 3 RBs, thus i would at least get 2 of my top 20 ranked RBs), I set up my rankings to pick WR/WR/WR/RB/RB, and got Smith/Holt/Roy/FWP/Foster. I've since traded Foster for Tatum Bell, and am pretty happy with the results. I'm tied for 1st place with 3 other teams at 5-2, and i have the 2nd highest scoring team. An added bonus to my own roster of strong WRs and adequate RBs is that my draft preranking of WRs in the 1st 3 rounds made the WRs weak for a couple of my prime opponents, who I knew were hoping to go RB/WR. They ended up getting Ronnie Brown and Cadillac in the 2nd round respectively, and didn't get a WR till the 3rd. My 2 RBs are performing as well or better than Ronnie Brown and Cadillac, and I didn't pick them until the 4th or 5th round.
I know it wouldn't work in every league, and with a livedraft, i'm sure that you could get screwed using the WR/WR strategy...heck, i got strewed with it last year, picking Randy and T.O. back to back, but this year, i'm enjoying the results thus far....just glad i didn't pick Chad or TO....

Last year I had the 10 pick out of 10 teams and I went Randy Moss and T.O., I picked up McNabb in the 4th round so I was rolling.....
until T.O. started his crap and McNabb went down for the season
QB's E. MANNING / KITNA / CUTLER
RBs R BROWN / WESTBROOK (R BUSH / MCGAHEE / L BETTS / D WILLIAMS )
WRs ROY WILLIAMS / T OWENS / A JOHNSON / BERRIAN
TE WITTEN / WATSON
K GRAHAM
DT PANTHERS
And In my other Yahoo league, I drafted all WRs to see how it would do. . . I am 2-5
My WRs are: Santana Moss, Steve Smith, Fitz with my RBs being Chester Taylor and Foster
I went WR/WR in one yahoo money league this year and I currently sit tied for first in the league (really #2 based on the total points tiebreaker, but three-way tie based on record). I picked 8/12 and ended up with this team:
Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, W/R, W/T, K, DST
1. (8) T. Owens WR
2. (17) C. Johnson WR
3. (32) K. Jones RB
4. (41) F. Taylor RB
5. (56) A. Green RB
6. (65) D. Williams RB
7. (80) L. Maroney RB
8. (89) K. McCardell WR
9. (104) L. Smith TE
10. (113) D. Brees QB
11. (128) N. Davenport RB
12. (137) G. Jennings WR
13. (152) S. Parker WR
14. (161) B. Roethlisberger QB
15. (176) J. Feely K
16. (185) Atlanta DEF
17. (200) J. Putzier TE
After trades and waiver moves it now looks like:
QB: Brees, Vick
RB: KJ, Ahman, Fred Taylor, Betts
WR: CJ, TO, Braylon, Jennings, Gabriel, Chris Henry
TE: LJ Smith, Colston
K: Kaeding
DST: Saints, Redskins
WR/WR could work, but you have to get lucky with some RBs (KJ for me) and hit on a couple WW/Sleeper guys (Colston/Jennings)
