Madden 07 Training Camp

Postby SeaWolf » Mon Sep 18, 2006 11:32 am

My eight yr old son rented Madden 07. ;-D No instructions. :-t I started playing the franchise mode and skipped training camp since I didn't know what it was for. I am playing the preseason game so I can get a feel on how to play. I have Madden 02 so it has been a while since I have played. I have played two weeks in the preseason and have scored over 40 points both games while keeping the opponent under 20. But I assume that's on easy and plan on changing that for game 3. I doubt that I will finish this season and start a new season while renting it this time, but if my son wants to play it would be nice to know if Training Camp is necessary. Thanks.

Basically what you do is play Mini games (if you will) with a player, and based on how well you do you can increase the players stats in different areas.

Example:

If you get a Gold on the rushing attack you will be given 3 points to add to any (or all) of the above

Agility
Carry
Break Tackle

Its not incrediably important but it can make an average player great if you get goo enough.

Im not sure if that made any sense let me know ;-D

He did play on his own before I even knew he had rented it. The wife asked me to help his since he was aksing her how to play.

I have played him H2H twice but he has a lot to learn. It will be 4th and 16 and he will not kick. "Dad I can get the first down". Young ones, they think they can do it all. :-b

Of course we can do it all, he was just kidding. Once you get over the age of 18 then you become fallible again.
