Julius Jones Woes...

Maybe this is covered in another thread, but I didn't see it...

Anyway, Is anyone as pissed off as me at the Cowboys for not giving Julius Jones a chance to score yesterday? Should I expect this all year (Barber as the goal line RB)?

I don't see this happening this season. Barber will get passes thrown his way, and maybe get about 1/3 of the carries -- but this is a Bill Parcells team. They will run the ball. Jones will be okay. I don't see Barber getting any more involved than people predicted before the season, and those people ranked Julius Jones accordingly. So nobody should be surprised by anything they've seen.

I wasn't surprised to see Barber getting the carries on 3rd downs, but I was surprised to see him get 4 straight goal line carries.

the fumbles dont help Jones...but it looks like he's getting a majority of the carries over Barber and not a 60/40 split that some were predicting

as for the goal-line, i remember Parcells going to Barber last year...so it could continue

I remember last year JJ taking the ball all the way down to the 10 yard line and sure enough, in came mr barber.

i dont think it will change, better hope JJ runs a 15 yard TD to get any scores, still if your league is big on rushing yards he is a great start.
