Whats everyone's outlook on Steven Jackson, so far he hasnt done too bad with yardage, but nothing for pay dirt, I started him this week against SF hoping for a monster game, but was somewhat disspointed.
here is what he has done so far:
Week 1 vs DEN:
121 yards with 22 attempts
4 receptions for 19 yards
0 TD's
Week 2 vs SF:
103 yards with 22 attempts
2 receptions for 21 yards
0 TD's
Dont get me wrong this guy is #3 overall in rushing yards as of now, and if he found paydirt he would be straight cash.
What do you guys think, he will stay the same or get better in the red zone as the season goes on?
I wouldn't worry too much with Jackson. They've ran him in the 20's and thrown inside the 10. Linehan hasn't been too successful throwing in the red-zone so he should turn to Jackson more this season.
One thing I always say in fantasy football - TD's are luck.
Yardage is a good indicator of a person's ability, and obviously Jackson is getting it done in that department. The TD's will happen eventually, and most likely in bunches. He could be just like Jordan was last year...always gets the combo yards and scores 2-3 TD's randomly a few times during the year.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Yeah, unless the team has a vulture TDs are pretty much luck, and SJax is the goalline back.
It is really afwul to think back to week 1 where STL could not get the ball in. I was worried to see that, but his yardage has been consistiently good.

I have Jax in 4 leagues and am pleased thus far. One thing that concerns me is the O Line that is falling apart. They already lost the Center for the season, and Pace left the game yesterday with a concussion. That would not be good for the Rams period, especially the run game. But Jax will get his chances to score. He had a couple runs inside the 5 in week 1, but they couldn't give him a lane. I think he's gonna be a top 5 RB at the end of the year.
