More than just a start and sit question...

I figured this forum was more appropriate than start and sit, but correct me if im wrong and move it.

I currently am winning my matchup today by a total of 2.10 points, he has no one left to play, and I have Heath Miller.

My Question is this

Start him and try and get the most possible points, just in case it comes down to points in a tie breaker later in the season,

OR

Do i sit Heath Miller and get the guarenteed win?

I mean you never know, he could have a bad game, catch the ball once, fumble it and never get another touch....

I posted this exact same situation last year with Gado and the consensus was to start him and get more points. That was because my league gives a monetary prize to the seasons points leader which I was at that point so thay swayed my decision.

depends on the player, really.

a featured rb is very unlikely to end up in the negative. even if they fumble it once, even twice, they'll probably make it up. so in that case, i'd play them.

a te, on the other hand, could very well only have one catch with a fumble. besides, what's the upside? 8 pts?

i'd sit him and take the W.

Bench for the win. Yeah, the point thing is important, but one fumble could mean the end of that W, which is always the most important thing.

Don't say things like this so soon before they play! I don't want Heath fumbling this game.....and you're almost guaranteeing it by declaring that he wont fumble!

Yah, but he's only had 42 catches in his career. And it's not like he has huge upside: another 6, 8, 12 pts for the end of the season? Not worth the risk.
