There are people who probably loved the film "Jerry MaGuire" and yet are criticizing Owens. I guess some people just don't handle reality as well as they do fantasy. Cuba Gooding Jr. gets Best Supporting Actor and Owens get fined $5,000 and called a bad man. Incredible. Sorta reminds me of fining Elway for giving a football to a boy in a wheelchair. Celebration adds alot of fun and "smack talking" to the game and creates more rivalry between the teams. The more that the rules get in the way of our enjoyment of the game, including its celebrations, the less inclined we will be to watch football.
