There's Something Wrong Here

Postby ScreamingWeasel » Thu Oct 02, 2003 5:37 am

Current League Leaders

NFC Passing Yards
Patrick Ramsey 1036
Joey Harrington 820
Aaron Brooks 814

AFC Passing Yards
Tommy Maddox 1168
Vinny Testaverde 961
Jon Kitna 939

I'm tellin' ya.
There's something wrong here.
There's something very, very wrong here.

Is it possible the NFL has salary capped itself into a parity sport where every year it's one-shot wonders?
Where you can't keep a team, any team, together?
Where are the teams you love-to-hate because they win every year?

That is very wierd, especially Aaron Brooks. I have him, and he has gotten me nothing all year.

I truly thought at the beginning of the year, if healthy, Maddox would throw for 4000 yards........but i didnt think 1000 of them would be to the other team..... :-o

4 of those 6 guys have been behind by 20 points mid-3rd-quarter most of the year.

For you fantasy football veterans, do you remember the regular occurence of Jim Everett throwing for 300-400 yards in defeat?

Still, an eye opening statistic. 8-o
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

harrington is the only one that surprises me. With tommy gun and his 2 recievers , i knew that would happen. anybody that knows anything about spurrier and the fun and gun offense could of predicted ramsays numbers. vinnys always puts up high numbers when he plays. kitna has the best reciever in the game second to moss and they are always behind. aaron brooks is always solid

One thing that I notice is that Ramsey, Harrington, and Maddox all have a RBBC. Do you think that is influencing their passing #'s too?
