I checked into this furrey dude...what do other people think? It looks like he is starting now and getting plenty of looks, he just needs to find pay dirt.

I think you guys are really going out on a limb on these two. Sleepers, more like waking up from a coma. But thanks for the input Im looking into it now.

Okay, but how much will he play? I don't think he's starting either, so I don't know...

he is taking Pollacks spot on the roster
they signed him off the practice squad because there kick returner, Tab Perry, is out for a few weeks...Marvin said he will return kicks
doubt he will see any catches though with Chad, TJ, Henry, and Washington in front of him

Furrey isn't exactly a sleeper. Mike Martz coached him when he was on the Rams. He was nothing more than a #4 or 5 receiver, he also played some safety. He won't consistently produce, not a chance.

He is a lot more consistant than some top receivers such as TO, Randy and Santana Moss.
He is averaging 5.5 catches a day.

Furrey isn't a new name.
He's been targeted 14 times already this year, with some nice results. He's been moved to #2 on the depth chart.
Catching 5 or 6 balls and getting 60 yards ain't bad.
And the Lions play a horrible Green Bay team this week. If Kitna has a little time to throw, Furrey could have a nice game.
RE: McNeil
No one would expect any practice player to make an impact.
