NFL coverage map for week 3

Check out the little spot down in Mississippi. I'd be more upset if I was forced to watch Favre instead of any other NFC South team. I never knew Favre got that much preferential treatment, that the NFL will reserve his hometown area for Packers games.

What's up with the white spots, like the one in the south of Florida? They don't get any NFL at all over there or something? :-?

I'm thinking that there's no early FOX game in those areas since they've got an AFC game. The areas are home to Indy, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Miami. The map is for FOX coverage.

I would have rather watched two potential playoff teams, MIN and CHI, battle than watching the god-awful Lions and Packers!

What do the white areas mean?
Welcome to the world of blackout rules. The short answer is: no game at all. This can be due to one of two rules: a) no games can air at the same time as a local team's home game on another network, or b) if a game is blacked out because it doesn't sell out, the network with the doubleheader can only show one game. Don’t shoot the messenger, I think the rules are stupid too.

Don't watch huddles and skip between them all. its the only way to spend a Sunday.
A fool and his money are soon parted. I would pay anyone a lot of money to explain that to me.
