so here's the deal. today when the steelers muffed that punt and cincinnati recovered it, i am faced with a dillemma. in our league you get a point for every turnover, pretty standard. players also lose a point when they commit turnovers, also standard. but the dilemma i face here is how to score this play. should it be -1 point for the pittsburgh defense/special teams and +1 for the cincy defense/special teams. there is nothing written in our rulebook one way or the other on a play like this so the call i make here will most likely set the prescident for the future in my league.

i lean towards -1 for the pittsburgh defense and +1 for the cincy defense, but need some more advice from a third party.

It could be done. I personally have never played in a standard league where D/ST lost points for losing a fumble.
