did you watch the game? he should have been benched. he muffed a pass that turned into an interception and then on the next drive fumbled a pass after a first down. brutal. they played awesome without him.

I watched the game

I also saw Eli throw 2 other interceptions....why didn't coughlin bench him? the defense got lit up.....did their starters get benched? it seemed like coughlin made plax a scapegoat for a TEAM (and coaching if you believe Shockey) meltdown. As for the play when plax went out? They played "great" when it was garbage time. Not because Plax was out. I could have used some of those garbage points this week!

I have a serious feeling that Coughlin will be fired before the end of the season if not at the end.

You can be upset about your fantasy team losing, and you can be upset that Plax didn't play well, but being upset at Coughlin for benching Plax, now if you'd watched the game, you'd realize that that was just plain stupid.

Of course he didn't bench Eli. QBs are going to turn the ball over, coaches live with that. They turn the ball over because they are trying to make plays and that's what coaches expect from the QB position. WRs who turn the ball over in consecutive drives, however, deserve to be benched 9 times out of 10.

There are issues in NY and Coughlin could be in trouble. But Plax did turn it over twice AND slightly blamed it on a back problem. His performance did not cost them the game but it did not help. Still I would have bench him too.
A fool and his money are soon parted. I would pay anyone a lot of money to explain that to me.

plax's offensive pass interference was big too...i dont really think it was a bad decision for the team because the backup came in and played really well, without the dumb mistakes

So let me get this straight, you want to post your venting but people should only respond if they agree with you.
