Chad Johnson, Housh and C. Henry

Postby Crystalstorm » Mon Sep 25, 2006 10:57 am

People are starting to compare Chad Johnson,Housh and C. Henry to the Harrisson,Wayne and Stokley combo, that Indy had a couple of years ago.
....I consider Chad Johnson, Housh and Henry a better group of WR's. I would suggest to start any of them every week(Housh and Johnson are obvious),but now Henry is a MUST START every week.Henry is a Solid # 2,from this point forward !!!!
.....Anyone of the 3 could be the top reciever on any given week from this point forward.I think Johnson takes the biggest hit in #'s,since he'll always get the other teams best coverman.

....Henry could be a #1 WR on alot of NFL Teams, but he's a #3 on a Stud filled WR team, with a stud QB.

Sorry man. Pitt like quadruple teamed Chad Johnson on Sunday.

That's the only reason Henry and Housh totally lit it up. Chad will get his most weeks and when he does that mainly takes away production that Chris Henry would have had.

Chad is still the stud and a #1 WR. A Must start every week.
Housh is a good #2
Henry has actually stepped up now, but is a shaky #2 at best.

You can't take a game that was an abberation and draw too many conclusions with it.

I own Henry by the way, but against the Pats next week, I've got 3 better options on my bench: Coles, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith.
Henry might work as a good bye week replacement sometime.

... saundman2000 states,I've got 3 better options on my bench: Coles, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith.

.....You must be in a 8-10 team league with alot of newbies to have Smith and C Johnson and 2 projected top 10 RB's(I know Portis was injured on draft day)but he doesn't slip past the top 15-20 picks in Good Leagues ........ So your 1st 4 picks were Jordan,Portis ,Smith and C. Johnson.......Where do I sign up !!!!!!! ;-D

I'm in a 12 team league(15 years strong),and Henry is a Nice # 2 option. ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D

That's always the first indictment when people see a good lineup. They say your league is populated by idiots, and presume that they could win it as a result. :-t

I only speak the truth. You must be in the other guys league, and have LT,Rudi Johnson,Holt and Fitzgerald along with Peyton Manning as your starting QB.

Your statement has nothing to do with the post.

My league is not a redraft. It's a keeper league that's going on 6 years. It's a 12-team league. I've been the champ 2 times and the runner up 2 times. There are about 5 good teams and 7 pretty mediocre ones.

how else does one obtain 4 players that should have gone in the first 2 rounds other than playing with idiots and/or playing in a small league?

A keeper league... as I said. These guys didn't all become top prospects at the same time. I picked up most of them before they were considered studs over the course of several years.

Word.

Can we create a bonehead or pre-school icon for everyone who does this? This, maybe?

Even putting aside the possibility of a keeper (which, per Saundman, is the case here), there's all sorts of things that can happen: runs in drafts, different scoring systems, different starting requirements, good late-round pickups that get traded for underperforming studs, etc., etc., that make strong lineups possible, even in a deep, knowledgable league. I am so utterly sick of the, "Well, then you must play in a weak league" bushwah.
