In the Madden Curse, the struggling hes had this season (yes hes put up decent numbers in some games) and The Foot injury keeping him out a couple weeks qualify as gettting hit with the curse, not the most drastic hit but never the less.
SUre, its Madden. I mean the fact that last year was a record breaking career high year, or that Alexander lost the best run blocking guard in football. Only Madden could explain this...
Madden doesnt point fingers, for one reason or another, it just happens. And thats what makes it what it is. No one says things like losing a guard dont contribute, stuff happens, its a curse its all part of it.

Pretty much. Hutch would have stayed if Alexander wasnt on the cover. It's fate.
i believe in trolls, faeries, hobbits, elves, the easter bunny, santa claus, the loch ness monster, big foot, and guardian angels. but not the madden curse.

I have a recommendation for EA Sports - do like SI and start making specialized regional video game covers to stop this darn curse! For example, for this year's NCAA Sweet 16, there were like at least 4 different teams on the SI magazine cover, depending on where your address is in the country.
EA could pick maybe 8 top NFL players from different areas of the country and send out the different game covers to stores from the respective areas. All it takes is for a few of those guys to have a good season and BOOM no more curse. It's either that or they're going to start having a hard time getting players to sign that contract... Ah nevermind money is money. But at least us fantasy owners could put it out of our minds!
