Jeez, in looking at my running backs, I have

Edge
Julius Jones

L Maroney
D Williams
B Jacobs
Maurice Jones-Drew

Not that I want anyone to get hurt, but any of those last 4 guys would likely outperform my two starters if the guy in front of them went down. As it stands now, Maroney is an every week flex starter, and will likely shoulder the whole NE running attack soon.

Here's hoping this strategy pays off later this season (guess you gotta do something when all the studs are drafted before you pick)

Its a great draft strategy to use on the right players. I use it every year. Last year I targeted LJ and got him in the 6th. This year I got Maroney in the 8th. In my league, that extra quality rb is huge since we can start 3 with the flex. Then towards the end of the draft I start loading up on the rb's because you just never know....

Yeah, I'm pretty high on Jacobs this year to improve on his rookie season last year. The G-men will want to conserve Tiki as the season wears on and they smell playoffs.

Looks like he's starting to get some carries away from the goal line too with some success.

I have him in a few leagues and am just waiting for a good excuse to plug him in mid-season... (no jinx!)
