Sunday has to have been great for FWP owners, not only did Willie get the yars he has always gotten, but he ran in 2 scores in goalline yardage - which has to be a great big step in solidifying himself as the uncontested back in Pitt. So this leaves me scratching my head as I think about how many RB's that were ahead of him in the draft not doing so well, and now seeing that he really has the goalline on lock. I really think this guy could be huge this year. Top 10 most definitely, and I really think he has a slight slight chance at top 5. I mean look at last year he has somwhere close to 1200+ yds and 7tds. Take that and give him the full time job this year as he has bulked up and is now seeing close to 30 carries/game plus goalline duties. Take Bettis' 12 - 14 td's/year he has averaged and just give half to Willie and give him 300-400 more yards as the uncontested back you have yourself a 1600 yd 14 td back, I really think that is reasonable too, anyways I wanna hear what you guys think.

You can't remove the Jags game, that's the problem. Don't hand him the keys to your city just yet. His two outstanding performances came against a really crappy run D (cincy) and a D who's average age is 48 (miami). If he runs good against other good Ds in the weeks to come, like SD, Denver, and Baltimore, then you can get excited about him and pick him number one next year.

Exactly. He's definately not top-5 if you include that Jax game. I'd say maybe 10th overall, but dont expect similar numbers for the rest of the season.

It's a tough call. After last week, I was ecstatic with my Keyshawn+Parker for Ronnie Brown deal. Now it looks awful. Bottom line is I wouldn't expect consistency out of Parker, but still he should have a few more like yesterday.

not exactly the model of consistency, which is what i expected again this season -- you have to play the matchups with him. and i have a sneaking suspicion that najeh davenport gets any goal-line carries against the chargers
What about the fact it took him 4 tries on one of those GL tries. if they kick the FG then he doesn't have the other TD.Didn't look strong at the goalline... I believe it was Parker anyway... Watched alot of games on sunday.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!
here are FWP carries from within the ten yd line in the game.
1st-10, CIN17 9:58 C. Wilson rushed to the right for 14 yard gain
1st-3, CIN3 9:52 W. Parker rushed up the middle for 3 yard touchdown. J. Reed made PAT
1st-7, CIN7 7:48 W. Parker rushed to the right for 2 yard gain
2nd-5, CIN5 7:48 W. Parker rushed up the middle for 4 yard gain
3rd-1, CIN1 7:11 W. Parker rushed to the right for no gain
4th-1, CIN1 6:26 W. Parker rushed to the left for 1 yard touchdown. PIT committed 15 yard penalty. J. Reed made PAT
Those numbers arent bad at all. And you have to lose the faith cowher has in parker 4 straight rushes from the 7 and parker is rewarded with a TD. Looks awesome as a parker owner. I believe parker also picked up a couple third and 1s in critical spots.
