Passing on Alexander at 4?
SA and Chad for LT?

They are kind of dumb because honestly whoever you got at 4 had a much higher bust potential than Alexander. In the other trade you basically just traded your top 2 picks for a guy who was rated like 2 draft slots ahead of SA. I love LT and had him as my #1 all year, but I would take that trade in a second.

Congrats on getting lucky, not something to brag about though IMO.

Agree 100%. Those were dumb moves. You got lucky. I drafted 4 in a dyanasty league. I would have loved for SA to drop to me. Got Portis instead.

Actually if you read what I wrote...

You would know this trade was done in my money "Keeper" league...
Which has been around for more than 10+ years now..
I listed my other WR's, and the reason moving CJ with SA didn't hurt my current squad..

My keeper line-up:
RB1-L.Tomlinson
RB2-Kevin Jones/Laurence Maroney
WR1-Anquan Boldin
WR2-Reggie Wayne
WR3-Cotchery/Colston/Moulds

I have been worried about SA since start of season..
No Hutchinson...
No contract incentive...
A Lot of carries past 4 years...
Will be 30 next year!

Last..after week 1, we all knew SA had a bruised foot..
It even made him miss practice during the past week, but many said it was NO Big Deal...
I watched the game on Sunday, and didn't like what I saw..
Therefor I jumped at the chance to move him, and get the #1 RB in all of football..
LT is even more valuable in my league, because of PPR..
(And being a Charger fan..trading for LT is a bonus!)

So after further review...

Sometimes you make your own luck! ;-D

If you put $100 on a hard eight and hit it, it worked to your advantage. However, you're still pretty dumb to do it in the first place.

You are confusing smarts with luck.

BTW, that LT for Alexander and Johnson trade really isn't that good for you. Alexander may be back by week 6, so you could be giving up a top-3 WR for two weeks of production at RB.

Once again..."KEEPER" league!!!

SA will be lucky to be a 10 TD RB next year...

and again...
I still have Anquan Boldin, and Reggie Wayne..
No matter what you guys think SA will do in the future, we know he hadn't done anything so far this year healthy, and now won't be doing much of anything hurt!

In a PPR league..LT is a HUGE upgrade over a healthy SA, let alone a hurt SA..

all you "SMART" owners would be stuck with a broken down SA... :-t

I'd rather be lucky than smart anyday... ;-D

Laugh. That must be why I've never failed to win a fantasy championship and I'm currently 12-0 in my 4 leagues this year.

Must be luck.
