Where are the Free Fantasy Leagues?

Postby terry bob » Thu Jul 11, 2002 2:51 pm

Now that CBS sportline has gone pay per play where can I find another site where i can draft on line for free and run my league on line for free? Does anyone know when yahoo football2002 will open and will it still be free? :-o

Hi, terry bob. yahoo may not open up for a while yet, but the last I heard their games would still be free, and the leagues should have enough configuration options to meet most needs. I played in a yahoo league myself last year and was quite satisfied.

Too bad sportsline is no longer offering free leagues...

insidecorner.com has a free football game. I highly recommend it.

Wth the lack of free sites this year, traffic on the remaining few is going to be brutal.

Fanball and CBS are not free this year. Fanball is still quite a bargin at $9.95 for 2 teams + $4.95 for an additional 2 teams. Thats 4 teams for under $15.

Free leagues try; myfantasy leagues.com

another one that is free is http://www.sandbox.net, but the problem here is that you have to stick with their scoring system...

Exit42 is pay this year, but I believe the "Bid2play" game is still free. For those of you who haven't tried Bid2play I recomend that too. Its an auction draft and auction for free agents. One problem with Bid2play is once you sign up the auction starts as soon as the next league is full, so you don't get to pick and choose leagues.
Lost of dead teams.
