I just picked him up due to the injury of V Davis, I have a feeling that he will be utilized alot, and prove that barring he stays injury free is a real good pass catching Te. Johnson proved that 2 years ago when he caught ;-D over 80 balls, and had a couple of monster games.

It sounds like your question is "is Johnson worth dropping Cooley for?"

Given that the Skins O was working pretty good last weekend and Cooley still didn't score well I would have to think that the risk of Johnson getting hurt would be outweighed by the production that he will provide.
I'd grab Johnson.

Yes. Johnson is amazing. He should not even be on waivers still. If he is, grab him.

Eric Johnson is THE waiver wire pickup this week, bar none. Forget all those schmucks grabbing Maurice Morris and Michael Robinson, get the guy that is actually going to produce instead of trying to hit a homerun. Eric Johnson is a LOCK to be a top10 TE while Vernon Davis is out. And this year has been very thin for waiver wire TEs up to this point...

Eric Johnson = money

He will indeed be the pickup of the week as far as I am concerned. Expect him to perform well while Davis is out.

Concur with the optimism. This guy was a stud in '04, and with a young QB who will likely tend to dump to his drop off receiver more often than a veteran, Johnson is indeed worth getting if you can.

I'm trying to acquire him in my league to fill in for Shockey and may start him over Shockey in the coming weeks.
