When I started the post, I was pretty happy, but now I'm slightly worried that he won't let himself fully heal, either causing a serious leg injury/ foot injury, or playing at 75-85% all year. I'd rather go without for two-three weeks and have him in 2003-05 form than get 80 yards a game and a TD every other week...

first of all he'll come back fine, i have a feeling he wont get the start against da bears. And he has a bye after this week. If he gives it some rest i can see him coming back week 6 making a big impression.

From all reports I've seen, he's much better than what was previously said, and Sunday vs. Chicago should be the only game he misses. Correct?

Exactly what I would be concerned with if I still owned SA...

He needs to allow it to completely heal, or it will be a problem all season long for him...
