It seems that this year is probably as hard a year as I can remember for guaging player values.
QBs like Brees, CPep, McNair, Collins and Brooks, once fantasy studs, have switched teams and some of them are crappin' the bed. It's difficult to say if they'll turn it around or not.
Once-reliable studs like Randy Moss and TO have done nothing.
Guys with big expectations like Caddy and Lamont (low-end 1st rounders) have done nothing and are on some league ww. lists already.
Guys some people (including me) felt were all washed up have been surprising so far; Pennington, Favre, Muhammad.
Then there are guys who are x-factors for whatever reason and it is hard to see where they will pan out; Edge, McAllister, Gore, CTaylor, Chambers, Bledsoe, JuJo, Eli, Maroney, Addai, Tatum, etc.
Heck, even SA, LJ, CJ have struggled in the early going.
So, does anyone else have some difficulty knowing what to offer or accept for these guys? Is the value scale a little more jaded than usual this year? Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of question marks clouding things this year? We all have speculations as to what guys will do, but it seems there are a lot more elements thrown in.
