Peyton vs. The Cafe: Week 4

Postby Matthias » Thu Sep 28, 2006 10:59 am

Last week, the Cafe took an early lead over Peyton, playing Donovan McNasty against the hapless 49'ers. Meaning, after one week, the score is:

Cafe: 19.94
Peyton: 19.06

Now it's time to pick for week 4. Again, scoring is as below. Pick your horse!

1 pt - 10 yards rushing
1 pt - 25 yards passing
6 pts - rushing TD
4 pts - passing TD
2 pts - passing or rushing 2-pt conversion
-2 pts - INTs
-4 pts - FUMs lost

I go with Vick. In no way do I see the Cards shutting down Vick like the Saints did. He'll bounce back in this shootout.

mcnabb at home. He is the best fantasy qb so far, looks like he finally is the perfect blend of experience, a little more accuracy, mobility, the eagles under reid have never lost tot he pack, and this is going to be a shootout.

Plus, there is a high chance that philly sports armagheddon might happen on monday, with the PHils hosting a one game playoff the same night. If that happens, I feel bad for visitors, those parking lots and stadiums will be LOUD.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

Hilarious concept. I love it.

Go with Bulger against Detroit. Just gut feeling, but i think he's in line for a big game.

Glad to see Farve getting some respect finally. But I won't pick him like I did last week, I'll have to add a voice to the majority and say go with McNabb.

Call me crazy, but I voted for Culpepper. Houston's the league's struggling QB punching bag. If Brunell could do what he did, imagine what Culpepper's going to do.

Vote Culpepper! This week only!

If he didnt put up good numbers against Tennesse how is he going to put up good numbers against a better Texans secondary?
