IM GONNA BLOW MY HEAD OFF WITH THIS T OWNES COVERAGE ITS ON FREAKIN GERALDO FOR CHRIST SAKES...

what has happened to the media in sports, i can see its changing and its pissing me off,

it used to be all about stats and highlights and prediction now its always about drama and t-o or some guy on the chargers who got arrested for dealing cough syrup..

nfl networks show is an hour long and 40 mins was about terrel ownes "suicide" and thats a HIGHLIGHT show...

anyone else notice this since week one? all the drama? instead of espn its more like xtra or entertainment 2 nite.

i didnt see one mention of waynes brother dying

I agree and I've never been a fan of players' antics ala TO, Chad Johnson, etc. I like football for football.

I think the reason the media attatches to these things is because they (media) truly believes this is what people want to see...and unfortunately, they're correct. Just look at this site. I'm sure you noticed how much more action threads about TO got versus Mr. fantasy football's (Alexander) injury got. Also, you have the people that could take or leave football. But now theres a juicy story happening so their attention is peaked. The media is gonna try to garner ever last bit of attention they can from these people before this is no longer a top story.

I dont like it, never have, but based on what I see on t.v. and the internet, you and I are certainly in the minority.
