I think possibly.. He may not get you 100+ each week like some RB's out there, but in a PPR league he could be a top 10 RB option out there.. Last week (while he sat on my bench) as I started Rudi and R. Brown K. Jones got 23 points.. Not too shabby.. Then I read this news today.. Here you go..
Lions to give Jones more carries
Kevin Jones, RB DET
News: RB Kevin Jones, who is averaging approximately 95 yards per game in rushing and receiving yardage, could get an increased work load Sunday in St. Louis as the Lions attempt to get their running game on track. After gaining 35 and 44 yards respectively in the first two games, Jones got 81 yards on 17 carries, despite getting only six second-half carries.
Analysis: Jones continues to inch his way toward a 100-yard performance and it could be likely he reaches that plateau in Week 4 vs. St. Louis, as the Rams are giving up 129.7 rushing yards per game. He is a solid No. 2 running back for Week 4.
If this proves true, and he gets a 80-100 Run/20-40 Receiving type game with a score and 3-5 receptions he could be extremely valuable and may be a better option than R. Brown at times.. Plus I like Detrioits schedule.. Just some thoughts people.. Bash me if you want, but I think Mr Jones may finally come out of his shell and be a stout stud this year.
I love how Jones is being used in the passing game. If the Lion's can get some momentum going KJ has top5 potential with his receiving stats. Right now I like him as a very solid RB#2 with his upcoming schedule with RB#1 potential. Based on matchups the next few weeks, I don't really see many RBs I would bench him for.
Im in a situation where I start 2 RB's and have Rudi, R. Rown and Kevin Jones as options.. It's a decent situation to be in as Kevin will start for Rudi next week as Rudi's on a bye and KJ may start over one of them there after.. I really think Kevin Jones may turn in an excellent year.. In a Point Per Reception league he is absolute Gold as he's alreay turned in over 5+ receptions per game and 40+ receiving yards per game on average!!.. There is an Automatic 9 points for me he's averaging just receiving wise.. Keep an eye on him people.. And here is the kicker. Even though he's put out decent production in my league people are still scared to take him in a trade, as Ive sent offeres including him over the last week.. I believe his value may rise pretty significantly after this week as I see him ripping the Rams D and having a week much like last week.. Keep an eye on him people..

Yes but Martz is driving it and Backus, DeMulling, Raiola, Woody, and Scott are your horses.
Expect a lot of bumps on the way to 1K and 8 TDs. KJ will have some very nice games, and he will be more consistant than last season, but he is going to throw some stinkers in there. There is a reason that it's been 21 games since KJ has had a 100 yard game. Martz will help, but he has to do more early in games or risk being abandoned after the Lions fall behind.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

I really think there will be soon.. I know he's had many o bashers over the last 2 years and has broke hearts, but I truely feel he's about to burst on the seen and be a force.
I have KJ, I took him as my 3rd rb with the same type of hopes, but it just doesn't look good so far. I was thinking the mike martz-type system of passing would open things up for the run, but nothing has clicked yet. I'm keeping him as my backup, but i wouldn't trust him as my starting 2nd yet.
