"a must start every week" Hasselbeck, Bulger, Vick....??

In the chat on espn fantasy sports today ESPN's Brandon Funston says that
"With the exception of a healthy Daunte Culpepper and Michael Vick when he returns, and perhaps Marc Bulger and Matt Hasselbeck, I don't consider any of the other quarterbacks in the league a must-start every week."
Do you agree with him? I would probably have to throw Manning in there as well, but otherwise I think he's right on. What do you think?

I agree with you on Manning and I'd probably add McNair to the list.

Healthy Culpepper, Hasselbeck, Bulger, and *probably* McNabb. I think we need to see Vick play again before I'd toss him on the list. Manning's great, but I think there's 8 other guys I might plug in when he plays Tampa Bay this week.

I think Vick is the only "must start" in the league. If you have other good options against questionable D's I would sit any other guy. For example, if I had Plummer and Manning then this week I'd take my chances with Plummer against KC rather than see Manning get eaten up by TB.

I would put manning in there, and also definitely not vick. Vick plays TB twice a year, and he has struggled everytime he's played them.

Mcnair is borderline, I've never had him on one of my teams, but I'd always be weary of starting him with all those injuries he has, yet he seems to almost play better when he's banged up.

I was actually kind of surprised that he said that hasselbeck and bulger were must starts, Bulger has only played 3 games I think so far, and he has never been dominant. Hasselbeck has been very good so far, but I'm not quite as sold on him as Funston is. I do have both Hasselbeck and Bulger on one of my teams, so I'm pretty happy with that.

You must not have had Bulger playing for you against Seattle. He threw for 2 TD's, 1 Int, around 250 yards and scored a TD. That was around a 25 point game from a QB against a decent Seattle defense. He also played very well last year.

Last time I looked McNair led the league in QB rating and has the 2nd most TDs. Of course he does have an INT so I guess I wouldn't start him every week! That McNair gets so little respect is something that Rash Limbaugh should have looked into before opening up his big, fat, narrow-minded pie-hole! Why doesn't McNair get his just due?
