How do you access the internet?

I work for a telephone company. The company I work for is making a big push to get consumers from the cable companies. We are to ask everyone we meet (cashier, hair cutter, family, etc) what services they have or don’t have with us and try to sell them our products (DSL, Wireless, etc). I’m not one to push our products, especially if I’m not on duty.

One of my peeves is that we never pushed DSL out. At my old house I could not get DSL. The cable company came along and offered high speed internet. When I moved earlier this year I still could not get DSL. Since I have high speed internet and don’t want to switch companies and go thought the hassle of changing my e-mail address. I assuming that most other consumers feel the same way. We lost all those customers that can’t get DSL and now have internet access though the cable companies.

So I’m asking you, for my knowledge only, how do you access the internet?

thats what i do too. we used to have cable but then i found we can get onto the upstairs neighbors network for free.

I've got Verizon DSL.

Used to go through the Cable company, but it was too damn expensive.
