i have Verizon, but i dont know what type it is; i dont know that much about my internet connection.

I've got AT&T/Yahoo DSL, specifically their Pro package. Or whatever the middle package is called. Used to have Earthlink DSL before, but switched to Yahoo when they started that $12.99 deal.
Cable internet is WAY too expensive in my area if you don't get their stupid bundles. When I was shopping around last year, Comcast quoted me $75/month for broadband only. Screw that. And since Comcast is the only cable provider here, they have no real incentive to lower their price.

Me too.
I'm rockin' the $12.99 DSL deal. It's kinda slow at times, but its cheap and it beats dial-up.

I think my dad gets our internet from like a high speed internet provider. Idk, lol. It ain't phone line internet tho, i know our TV is dish network, and our phone is something liek vonage. i think we get the internet from the company that gives us the internet phone.
