Are you in an idiot league?

Postby BigMusky » Fri Sep 29, 2006 10:59 am

Shaun Alexander is owned in only 86% of CBS sportsline leagues...so if you see him on your waiver wire, then you know you are in an idiot league. That is about one in six.

that makes total sense W.W if your bench is full of the ppl u drafted and some sleepers you picked up your not going to win the idiot league.....

you will win that league when u trade manning for frye and drop alexander and pick up morris. pick up the latest no name stud from last sunday only to find he doesnt even start and you dropped a number 1 reciever on a bye week.... thats a winner!!

Sometimes its harder to be an idiot, to much off the wall thinking

Alexander was never that good anyway. Fringe starter. With this injury, WW material.

another fun excercise along these lines is viewing some of the trades in yahoo.

For example 2 days ago, some bufoon traded Thomas Jones straight up for Lofa Tatupu. :-?

It might have been a good deal; idiot leagues often have idiotic socring systems. For example, I used to be in a league where the kickers were often the 2nd highest scoring players behind QB's; Seriously, any td was worth 100 pts + yardage, and FG's were worth 50 points + yardage. we didn't have LB scoring, but hell, why not?
