So should I be excited about LJ?

Ok, so I know everyone is just laughing at whoever pick Lamont Jordan in the first round this year(me not one of them) but I'm sure there are a few that would have liked to get him(one of them being me) but him falling on hard times running the ball and a bye week, an impatient owner dropped him in my league and I snagged him with my #4 waiver to drop a kicker. Now my question is, should I be excited? I feel like I should be, a legit 1st rounder from last year, being dropped into my lap only because of a bad week. He seems like a good setup into this week against Cleveland(no I am not starting him just yet) but I think it could turn out to be a good thing. What does everyone else think about Jordan and would they grab him if they had a chance?

I believe you should be excited anytime you can pick up a starting runningback off the waiver wire no matter who it is. That being said...Jordan I would rate Jordan as a flex or bye RB 2 at the moment. If the Raiders get wise and decide to start throwing to him..then he would move up.

Getting Lamont off waivers is a steal. I don't think you can be dissapointed since you did get him off waivers. He should produce quite well.

10 team with friends. There isn't one guy who is a newbie to FF this year.

I basically posted this to see if anyone had any faith in him since all I've been hearing is how much he's been sucking. Once I saw him I knew I'd try and claim him and hope he breaks out.

He was a 3rd round pick in my money league, and was dropped for Ron Dayne last week. Nobody wants to spend $5 to pick him up so far.

yes you should be very excited...i cant believe somebody would drop him so soon...just bench him and see what happens

Happened in my league also... now I'm just waiting to see if I am able to get him or not.
