MSU breaks down in spectacular fashion...again.

Isn't it amazing how they do this every year?

And by "this", I mean build up a bunch of hype and then collapse and lose out the rest of the season.

Drew Stanton is starting to remind me of Joey Harrington. He has a good structure and good mechanics, but he's having troubles leaping the mental hurdles of the game.

You are of course refering to Joey Harrington in the pros right?

Not really sure MSU had built up a lot of hype this year they never even got ranked.

Losing their starting QB and RB is going to make it tough to beat anyone, not to mention they just played like crap again.

Bye bye Mr. Smith. :-b

They will do it again next week. Last 2 years they have crumbled late against Michigan, and it could easily happen again.

Here's a clip of a MSU radio announcer going nuts after they choked the game away to ND last week. Pretty funny.

No, I think hes referring to Joey Harrington's professional career of playing the piano.

If you haven't heard this you need to. Hilarious stuff I heard on Rivals Radio. HR Puffenstuff and Teddy Ruxben > MSU coaches. :-b

By the way, Atog...Doesn't 'breaking down' imply that we were actually good in the first place? Come on.. :-b

Just imagine if UM actually lost to us either of the last two years, instead of squeaking it out on OT.

OT two years ago was the best game Ive ever been at. Ive never heard 110000 fans (minus maybe 50000 that left early) be so quiet, and then erupt with such energy. I was sober enough by the 4th quarter to actually remember it, which was a miracle enough.

Thanks for the memory MSU!!!

See, another prime example of MSU pissing away games all the time. In all seriousness though, with the talent on the field..should have never even been close. Michigan never capitalized on the height advantage Edwards had over their best CB (which is laughable in the sense that he was 5'7", and a converted RB on two surgically repaired knees). MSU really had no business even being in it.
