Hehe, my Altanta defense scores more points than Palmer

Postby sakicAVS » Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:48 am

Yup, in my fantasy yahoo league, last night Atlanta scored 25 points and Palmer scored 24.

Thank god for Terry Glenn and Marques Colston, they tore it up and got me the win ;-D

And Lamont Jordan too, thank you guys for convincing me to play him. Anyone else decide to play him too?

I dont know why I posted this, I guess because at one point I was so pissed at Carson Palmer sucking it up, but in the end I guess defense wins championships haha.

I'm now in first overall by points and wins, woo.

How did Palmer score 24? He had no TDs, 245 yards and 2 lost fumbles.

what's your defensive scoring? In our Yahoo league my Atlanta D also got 25 pnts. Our scoring is as follows:
Sack (1)
Interception (2)
Fumble Recovery (2)
Touchdown (6)
Safety (2)
Block Kick (2)
Points Allowed 0 points (10)
Points Allowed 1-6 points (7)
Points Allowed 7-13 points (4)
Points Allowed 14-20 points (1)
Points Allowed 21-27 points (0)
Points Allowed 28-34 points (-1)
Points Allowed 35+ points (-4

Yahoo says there was 4pnts allowed, 4sacks, 2 Ints, 2 Fum Rec, 1TD. But Arizona scored 10 pnts. So unless I'm missing something else I should only have 22 pnts...right?

I never thought of that, could be, I'd be surprised though. Sure wish I knew...with the current score I'm now tied, hopefully I can get 4 more out of Akers to lock the W
