Team Ranking Question...

I'm not sure where else to post this so I will direct it to a possible section in the Cafe Forum. Is there a way to find out, on or off the Cafe Forum, real-team rankings such as best to worst run defense and pass defense. I would be interested in using it for determining which Rb's or Wr's to start each week. I know the "who to start/Bench" would help, but it gives mainly opinnions and I would like some solid written rankings if they exist anywhere. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Not that I know of on the cafe, but you can use this link http://www.nfl.com/stats and then scroll down to the bottom-mid section where you see Team Stats, and Select Defense, it should have what your looking for.

Offense and Defense Rankings are always given in the form of YPG whether it be total, rushing, or passing. Just sort them by that on NFL.com and just count out what position they are. I use this heavily to determine my matchups(atleast my money leagues). I also used it a lot back when I was on the response team last year. Always good to back up arguments with numbers too.

A great site for offensive and defensive rankings is http://www.nflfreaks.com. Each week their Matchup Analysis Tool compiles the best passing and rushing offenses and defenses. They give yards and TD's allowed (or scored for offense) per game and rank them. It makes it very easy to determine which teams to play your matchups with.
