You could make the argument that not only does the Madden curse apply to its coverboy, but players associated with their commericals.

They've had Chad Johnson and Daunte Culpepper featured in their commericals and both of them haven't been playing so well. Johnson, in addition to getting his head knocked off one week, has had had a bad season so far. Culpepper has just been horrible and leads the league is number of times sacked and has only thrown 2 TDs.

Agree. McNabb couldn't be on the cover again. I don't think Madden game would do that. People would look at it and say "I already have that verison man..."

Next year is probably going to be LT2 sadly. But they did a RB this year so there is hope it won't be LT2.

Unless the Bears win the Super Bowl, Grossman doesn't sound like a good idea from a marketing standpoint at EA. Grossman doesn't have the nationwide face and name recognition that the other cover guys have.

They should put TO on the cover, LOL.
