Hey guys, I know that Dante is sitting out Sunday, Oct. 5. I was just curious if you guys knew any more then that though. Like how his back is coming along and if they plan on playing him after the bye week if he's healthy enough. Also, do you think this injury will nag him the whole year? Thanks for your input.

I think 4 weeks (starting from when he was sat in the lions game)
of rest is enough time for it to heal since they have bye week comin. And he has got to play if they wan to beat the broncos comin off the bye.

I Strongly agree... Gus played well the last 2 games. They'll let Cpep rest and he'll be back after bye.

Do you think if he struggles at first (we all know Dante is capable of that in a big way) Tice will have no regrets to bench him and bring in the so far proven Ferrote?

No. Cpep will be the guy the rest of the way unless he gets hurt. They've invested too much in him to do anything else. He's the franchise QB in Minnesota.

He will be 100% after the bye week. He could have played these last 2 weeks, but they wanted to rest him.

what are you talking about????????? CPEPP has the best QB rating in the league as far as im concerned, i dont think that he will bench an already proven great QB for a screw up like freotte. remember the 40 TD, 4400 yd season he put up his first year as a starter????? why dont you just sit in the corner and think about that for a while.

The Vikings have a bye next week but after that, Culpepper will definitely play. And unless he gets injured again, he will start the rest of the season.

how many times does ferotte have to prove you wrong. if culpepper struggles i woudnt be surprised one bit if tice puts ferootte in. with ferotte in the helm, this has been the most potent offense in the nfl since the days of warner and faulk
